I was pondering the idea of writing an online version of the game we've been playing with friends and family for a while.

Of course, with all the lockdowns, it made sense to spend time at home in somewhat productive way.

I've had many side projects in the past and mostly I was able to get them to completion. As I don't get to code in my day job anymore I wanted a new, fun, stress-free project that would last for about a year.

I have two main reasons to do this:

• Play the game with my parents overseas.
• Keep my coding skills up to date.
